Waiting for an answer. I just emailed GE Appliance Customer Dis-Service. I told them to pass my complaint on to the CEO, the head of Customer Dis-Service, and the head of Product Under Development. I bought all new GE appliances December 2006. First my microwave popcorn button never worked correctly. Then at Thanksgiving, the metal plated knobs on the range melted. Recently, my dishwasher melted almost causing a house fire. I have filed a complaint with Consumer Product Safety Commission. I schedule service and insist that I not have to pay for it. The guy shows up and says 'gee you must like to cook if your knobs are melted' What kind of stupid company puts meltable knobs on a range? He then orders all the parts and I am promised next day service when the parts arrive. Monday, nobody shows up for the service call, and I spend 30 minutes at work the following day navigating the phone tree and rescheduling the appointment for the following week. Fired off a nasty email and I will see what happens...but I would like to directly write/email the top people in the company. I did ask for the appropriate names/addresses on this site. Rachel
