-
Jugband Blues- Syd's last Floyd song, complete with changing time signatures, a loud middle section, and the ironic ending line. A great song that highlighted the all-too-trippy second album.
-
Comfortably numb
-
Time all the way!

Have a Cigar Come in here, dear boy, have a cigar. youre gonna go far, fly high, Youre never gonna die, youre gonna make it if you try;theyre gonna love you. Well Ive always had a deep respect, and I mean that most sincerely. The band is just fantastic, that is really what I think. oh by the way, Which ones pink? And did we tell you the name of the game, boy, we call it riding the Gravy train. Were just knocked out. we heard about the sell out. you gotta get an Album out, You owe it to the people. were so happy we can hardly count. Everybody else is just green, have you seen the chart? Its a helluva start, it could be made into a monster if we all pull together As a team. And did we tell you the name of the game, boy, we call it riding the Gravy train.
-
Money. One of the best songs I have ever heard.
-
They all sound the same to me, I mean really the same... I like the one with the line "Hey you, out there on your own sitting naked by the phone can you hear me?". That makes me snicker.
-
The entire Wish You Were Here album.
-
Shine of you craaaaaaaazy diamond - massive, melodic and mesmerising.
-
"I am a barber in Mayberry"
-
Us and Them
-
Money. My dad listens to him all the time.
-
Very difficult. I think PF is much more an album band, you have to hear a whole one, beggining to end to get the whole experience. I'm partial to "Wish You were here" and "Comfortably Numb"(Oh the Guitar solo!)
-
Dogs of War - awesome live song
-
Time
-
Almost all of them. I have been a Floyd fan for a looooong time and I think they are one of the best. Even better live!
-
I consider Dark Side of the Moon one song, with the different tracks being movements of the song. If I had to choose a song, it would be Us and Them or time, Or it could be Bike, Interstellar Overdrive, or The Gnome.
-
Not now John

Money
-
Wish you were here
-
Us and Them
-
Shine On You Crazy Diamond
-
Wish You Were Here
-
Can I have another favorite? Us and Them. I loved that whole album; I think it's the best concept album ever. Love how BLUE and dark it all is, and the way they'll spread a harmonic chord over six octaves or more.
-
Shine On You Crazy Diamond.
-
I love so many of pink floyds' songs but I have to say that I really like the great gig in the sky the best. I also like brain damage.
-
Pink Floyd is one of my all time favorite groups and I like almost everything they did. Favorite? ~ probably The Division Bell.
-
I love all Pink Floyd they rock, so choosing one song is hard to do, but i have to say Comfortably Numb. Its such an amazing song, n such an amazing band!
-
Us and Them
-
My first experience with Pink Floyd was in seventh grade. At that age a song like "Another Brick in The Wall" is very alluring. That's the one that comes to my mind when I think of Pink Floyd; and, that is my favorite.
-
YOU MAY RELY ON IT
-
Money - sold the most. Us and Them - inspired the most and biggest war protest marches and is my personal fav. The Piper at the Gates of Dawn - started it all.
-
another brick in the wall.
-
"Two Suns in the Sunset" off of "The Final Cut". The album "The Final Cut" is not much liked by Floyd fans but, to me, it is a gem. To me, that album had an incredible "message" and the song "Two Suns in the Sunset" just said it all. "Ashes and Diamonds Foe and Friend We are all equal in the End" It so eloquently described the futility and uselessness of war.
-
Hey You, Wish You Were Here or Comfortably Numb.... it's a toss up...
-
Every single one of them.

-
I've never heard a Floyd song that I didn't love.
-
I don't know but it's probably one of these: Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Comfortably Numb, Time, Another Brick In The Wall (part 2), Brain Damage, The Dogs of War, Run Like Hell, Wish You Were Here.
-
They are ALL great ... but my favourite is their anti war protest song, "Us and Them". __________ ... here is a link to a web site that allows you to listen FREE (just provide a valid email) to concerts that were recorded live ... among them is a great Pink Floyd concert ... I suggest all you fans check it out ... there are other groups too ... https://concerts.wolfgangsvault.com/Secure/Login.aspx

My favourite song is "Shine On You Crazy Diamond". It is a beautiful piece with certainly the best guitar on any of their songs. It is long, sprawling, and haunting, especially the last part. A close second is "Echoes" because it has similar qualities.
-
Some of my favorites are "Us and Them", "Shine on You Crazy Diamond", "Dark Side of the Moon" and "Another Brick in the Wall".

Wish You Were Here....followed by...Comfortably Numb
-
Pink Floyd is indeed an awesome band and I love them, but I can't honestly say "greatest band ever known" 'cause there's too many bands I haven't heard, and plus, are you really going to say The Who aren't as good in their own way? ^_^ They're certainly up there, though. My favorite Pink Floyd song is "Comfortably Numb", from The Wall. I don't know, there's just something about that song that speaks to my slightly insane self. ^_^
-
