Can I have another favorite? Us and Them.

I loved that whole album; I think it's the best concept album ever. Love how BLUE and dark it all is, and the way they'll spread a harmonic chord over six octaves or more.

    Very difficult.
I think PF is much more an album band, you have to hear a whole one, beggining to end to get the whole experience.
I'm partial to "Wish You were here" and "Comfortably Numb"(Oh the Guitar solo!)

Pink Floyd is indeed an awesome band and I love them, but I can't honestly say "greatest band ever known" 'cause there's too many bands I haven't heard, and plus, are you really going to say The Who aren't as good in their own way? ^_^ They're certainly up there, though.

My favorite Pink Floyd song is "Comfortably Numb", from The Wall. I don't know, there's just something about that song that speaks to my slightly insane self. ^_^

"Two Suns in the Sunset" off of "The Final Cut".

The album "The Final Cut" is not much liked by Floyd fans but, to me, it is a gem.

To me, that album had an incredible "message" and the song "Two Suns in the Sunset" just said it all.

    "Ashes and Diamonds
    Foe and Friend
We are all equal in the End"

It so eloquently described the futility and uselessness of war.

    Money - sold the most.

Us and Them - inspired the most and biggest war protest marches and is my personal fav.

The Piper at the Gates of Dawn - started it all.
