  • Patrick Roy, goalie for the Canadiens/Avalanche would have to be up there and probably Gordie Howe or Bobby Orr. Tough question because Gretzky is by far the greatest and fully deserving of his nickname.
  • Gordie Howe, or Bobby Orr. Maybe Bobby Hull.
  • I would have to say Gordie Howe.
  • Mario Lemieux and Bobby Orr
  • Mario Lemieux was better than Wayne 100%. If not for injuries Mario would have surpassed Wayne's records for everything except assists, and you can calculate this via PPG, GPP, etc. Mario fought his own battles, had a better knack for putting the puck in the net, and was a much more powerful presence. Wayne had better vision but that is all he had over Mario. Wayne is the GREATEST, but Mario is the BEST. And I can't believe someone ealier actually said Bobby Hull, lol, that drunkard!
  • mario lemieux, was the greatest ever
  • Personally, I like Yzerman.
  • Patrick Roy or Bobby Orr. People focus a lot on the forwards and how many goals they score, but there are two other positions that matter just as much or more. ` Patrick Roy was the greatest because you could count on him when you needed it. The team could be down in a series and going into OT, the offense would stagnate, but Roy would keep them in it for as long as necessary. 3 OT's if need be. If he needed to stop it, he did. ` Orr revolutionized the defense position. He's the only defenceman to ever lead the NHL in scoring, and he did it twice. The whole while he was putting up massive +/- numbers. He was the single player who contributed the most to him team in every facet of the game.
