i stupidly used my hand to separate two piggies that were fighting, a few years back, and wound up at urgent care getting stitches and a tetanus shot. Since then, i’ve always used thick gloves to break up fights. ;-)

yes i have,through my life ive had 8 guinea pigs,ive been bitten at times,i just pour some peroxide on the bite and an anti bacterial cream on it and bandage it. btw,i now have #9,a female.and yes,they do hurt like he--double hockey sticks!

not me, but my sister got bitten by one of our pigs once. it was just a nip, but it hurt a bit. their teeth are sharp.

yes. they have sharp teeth. generally when they bite you though it is a sign. something they are not comfortable with or maybe they need to go to the bathroom.

No, but did you know a female guinea pig initiates mating by biting the male on the lip?

OH my god you guys are such babies i have 2 guineas and they bite when i bath them or if i have juicey fingers it doesnt hurt there not sharp they are square shaped to . ..

Yeah, i have. I got my first guinea pigs when i was 6 and they used to lick my fingers. I (stupidley) decided to put my finger in their mouths and so i got bitten a number of times. It didnt really hurt that much, )horse and rabbit bites are much more painful) but i was 6 so there was a drama...as usual :)
