What types of necklaces do and don't pinch when wearing them. I am in Law Enforcement and looking for a simple silver necklace that won't pinch me all day.

My daughter makes necklaces out of hemp and beads. They are not silver but they are very attractive and really comfortable to wear. I never used to wear necklaces for the same reason, they pinched and were hard for me to get off. I have had the same one on for days, and I wouldn't know it was there.Give them a try. For metal necklaces I have had the best luck with box chains. Look for a smooth clasp, without parts sticking out too much.

I often wear the Elsa Peretti Bean from Tiffany's. It's classic, and the links on the chain are pretty small and don't seem to pinch. I love it!
