  • There are a few things that you can do to relieve stiffness and back ache. Frequently stand near your desk and touch your toes. That will help your lower to mid back. Another good one for your whole back is to sit straight up in your chair, turn your body at the mid section to your left and with your right arm across your chest, grab the back of your chair with your right hand and pull, hold for 30 seconds. Then repeat these steps, but to the other side. To relieve your neck, head rotations are good (roll your head clockwise and then counter clockwise). Also for your neck, try grabbing your head with your right hand and slowly pull your head toward your right shoulder. Once you have pulled your head as close to your shoulder as you can go, then hold it for 30 seconds and then slowly release your head back to it's normal position, (then do the other side). After you are done pulling and releasing your head on the left and right shoulders then pull, hold for 30 seconds and release your head to your chest. I have a desk job and these excercises really help me. I hope that they help you too!
