  • a belief
  • Neither. It is a denomination. As UU's we are expected to make up our own minds about the nature of God, and what spiritual path we want to follow. We all have faith, but in different things. We all have beliefs, but they are different for every UU also. I always say UU congregations are to churches what the Diogenes Club in the Sherlock Holmes stories were to gentlemen's clubs. "...There are many men in London, you know, who, some from shyness, some from misanthropy, have no wish for the company of their fellows. Yet they are not averse to comfortable chairs and the latest periodicals. It is for the convenience of these that the Diogenes Club was started, and it now contains the most unsociable and unclubable men in town. . ." (The Adventure of the Greek Interpreter) There are people who don't fit in regular churches; Atheists, Agnostics, Deists, Theists, Pagans, free-thinkers, Christians who married Jews, Buddhists who married Anglicans . . . Yet, they are not adverse to exploring spiritual issues, working with a group for social justice or having potlucks with like-minded people. Our web committee has voted down using that comparison 1:6 both times I've proposed it. They think the word "unchurchable" would offend members and visitors alike.
  • Unitarianism is a European interpretation of Nubian Illuminism. They dabble in their limited amout of so-called esoteric dark lil' secrets & think they have some divine connection. I'll admit they did a great job of keeping the masses uninformed on a whole about everything we can precieve in the 3rd dimension. The practices of the Nubians are the true techniques of mind sciences & divine knowledge. It seems we can't get these thieves out of our country or stop them from digging up our cultures relics to uncover that which was not meant for them to be known. Europeans scholars have dedicated their lives to keeping us in the dark. Including the African people themselves. Do you have any idea how many of my people were nurdered out of fear of this knowledge? Khepera, Osara
