Bull. The car is registered in your name. Depending on the local laws if you are in the car the repo man may have to just get you another time. There is no criminal offence here unless you batter the repo man. He can't touch you and you can't touch him.

you get arrested for Grand theft auto, a felony. if you don't have title to the car you don't own it, keeping it from the rightful owners is theft in all 50 states
