If you are washing dishes at the time, cooking the salmon in the dishwasher is arguably free. . This is why Cascade came out with the lemon dishwasher soap. . http://www.cvs.com/CVSApp/catalog/shop_product_detail.jsp?skuId=193215&productId=193215 . Look for Mesquite Smoke Cascade and Teryaki Cascade soon.

I'm gunna go with an oven, seeing as if you want to eat the salmon, it'll take less salmon to get a whole portion if you cook it in the oven, therefore making it cheaper :) If you 'cook it' in the dishwasher you'll get flakes of salmon and you'll lose some as all the water drains away.
