Help answer this question below.

Can anyone explain shopping for health insurance a little better than web sites. When I click on the glossary they use the same words in the definitions. Some general tips and terms would help. Thanks!

    You must understand all the terms: HMO, PPO, copay, coinsurance, deductible.

    Try calling your state's department of insurance. They can usually answer general questions and some provide brochures for the layperson.
