    Hummingbird Cake apparently originated in the American southern states. Often referred to as a type of "spice cake," it features bananas, pinapple and pecans (or sometimes walnuts) in a light cake, topped with a cream cheese frosting and pecans. Some recipies call for baking it in a bundt pan. Reviews indicate it's quite delicious.
