yes, most definately, any of those pressures alter the atmosphere , the feeling of it. IN NZ in the south island we get a wind called the nor wester, its a low pressure that sweeps in form the mountians, when it hits, it give a lot of people terrible headaches, because th drop is so quick and acute, I used to suffer from the headaches, it was horrible :(

no, because we moved from one end of the country to the other, those winds dont effect Auckland, thank goodness ! :)
