Weddings. More upbeat. And more likely to have on open bar. But for the cheapies....you aren't expected to bring a gift to a funeral.
-
I'm not real keen on either, but if I had a choice, I'd take the wedding.
-
I prefer weddings.

This is off topic a touch, but... When I was younger, my dad operated a banquet hall. A wedding reception was going on, and about halfway into it, the brides dad dropped dead. This is no joke, it actually happened. Would be curious to find out if she is still married (this was the mid-80s) and what her answer to this would be. My answer? Wedding. A beginning is always better than an ending. One always says "I can't wait for (whatever) to start."

Weddings! Better food and it's not like you see many dance floors at funerals.
-
I prefer to go to neither but if i absolutely had to choose, i'd choose a beginning over an ending :)

Seriously?

Weddings of course. After the wedding this summer in Mexico where I was the father of the groom I have to say that a funeral is cheaper. LOL

A Funeral. Generally, there is no drama at a funeral. Plus, I am not expected to sit around for hours with people I don't know or don't like and don't have to bring a gift.
-
definitely weddings, funerals make me cry too much!
-
Weddings...no contest. It would make me happy to never go to another funeral for the rest of my life.
-
Is this a serious question? Who would prefer death/pain/tears/depression/a sea of black over life? Wedding.
-

-
