In the sims 2 body shop, how can you actually MAKE your own hair, not just color it?

    No,you can't.You can just download them from modthesims2.

    creating hair for the sims 2 is pretty advance. you should learn to create objects first so you can get this feel for meshing. in order to mesh anything (hair, accessory, objects, etc) you need a 3D meshing program such as milkshape (25$), or there are a few free programs such as wings 3D, lilith, etc. you also need a paint program, like photoshop (100$), or there are a few free programs like paint.net and the gimp. here are the links to some tutorials and the programs you will need. as a creator for the sims 2 i suggest you try something lighter like a putfit mesh.
