I have a whole stack of them here. Most recent was 'The Winter War', Finnish movie about the Winter War between them and the USSR during 1939 to 1940. Its a regular favorite for me :).

Passion of the Christ. I don't like movies with subtitles. I get to distracted and miss half the movie!

Kung Fu Hustle. The subtitled one is a million times better than the dubbed one.

I believe it was called "B13" (District 13?), about the not so distant future, when sections of cities were blocked off by walls and roadblocks, and most sections were run by gangs. It had a couple of French martial arts stars in it. It was actually pretty good!

The Three Colours Trilogy. Amazing films. I don't see why some peopl get distracted by subtitles. It's so much better than watching a dubbed film and within a few minutes I forget I'm processing them. Then again, I'm a fast reader.

Born into Brothels: Calcutta's Red Light Kids. It's a documentary directed by Ross Kauffman and Zana Briski. Briski had moved to the red light district to try and document the life styles and, after meeting the children there she got cameras for them and started teaching them photography so that they could record the brothels from their perspective.

'A Short Film About Killing'. Polish. 1988. This is available separately or as part of the directors 'Decalogue' which looks at modern life through the moral concerns of the ten commandments. Critically acclaimed and very good.

Tonight on TCM, I watched a 1922 silent film called "Beyond the Rocks" starring Rudolph Valentino and Gloria Swanson. It was very well done. I don't know if the text cards with the words they speak counts as subtitles, But this is a great movie.
