Do you want Stephenie Meyer to release a 5th book to the Twilight series?

oh she is going to release a 5th book, its called Midnight Sun, its supposed to be Edward's version of twilight but since it got illegally in the Internet she is going to wait more to finish it.

well, i like her idea of midnight sun. She should do the whole series again in Edwards perspective, it would be amazing. I think that another book in Bella's perpesctive wouldn't be good. Braking dawn was the perfect ending it could've had.

I would love for her to release the 5th book but I understand that she is making a statement about all the idiots who had to ruin it for the rest of us by downloading the book.

i definitely do..i don't want her to stop publishing books..however i do want all those books to be as amazing as the first books..
i haven't finished breaking dawn though so lets see what happens

personally i think she should, there are many fans and i do recall J.K.Rowling wrote many books and they all seemed to be a success that ther is a film to every book....almost....sooo i think she may also be a huge success in her books and possibly films,

First things first all you Twilighters out there, the fifth book you are referring to is actually not the fifth book in the Twilight series. It is the First book of Edward's version of the story, which is Midnight Sun. The question asked if anyone would like a fifth book in the series, not for her to continue writing Midnight Sun. Second of all, she has already decided to move foward with Midnight Sun, so for the ones who were worried like me, we can quit fretting now. Third of all, yes the book was leaked on the internet. Of course, it was then pulled off. Stephenie herself posted a link to Midnight Sun, because she did want to treat her fans fairly. And as to the question that was asked, I would love for her to put out a fifth book to the Twilight Series.

Mixed Emotions here. There are so many questions left unanswered about the books. Like, What happens to renesmee? But then again, you wouldn't want her to kill the series. I think she should just come out with a small summary.

And I cant wait for the 5th book "midnight sun" to come out. I have read the first couple of chapters on her official website and it is a entirely different side. I think if she wrote Edwards side before she wrote Bella's, Bella's would be a big dissapointment.

I also like the idea of her doing the series in Edward's point of view. That would be amazing. It would give a completely different outlook, and so much more insight. <3

But at the same time, I would love it if Stephenie would begin a new series. She's an amazing author and I think something new, something great would be WONDERFUL.

i think the twilight saga (from bella's pov) should be left as it is, with breaking dawn (which i loved so much - best book from the whole saga).
i enjoy edward's pov more (have read the first 12 chapters) so i wish she would actually do the entire saga like that.

just because a couple off assholes did what they did doesnt meen the rest off her fans should play for it. i really hope she finishs the book and starts on the next one after breaking dawn. millions off fans are waiting for the next book, is she really that mean to just stop? its not we are the ones that did it!

I would LOVE for there to be a fifth book!! And I would be okay with there being even more after that one too!!

I hope she will finish Midnight Sun. I wont read it until its printed. I dont feel like I should read a story that isnt complete just because someone wanted to leak it.

As for the series to continue I would LOVE for her to write more in someone elses point of view. I think she was already planning on that. I understand that the story needed to end for Bella.

i would love to see a 5th instalment to the series to see what happens to bella and edward and renesme and jacob. she ended breaking dawn so well its nice just to imagine what will happen to them but midnight sun should definatly be published. the love story she has created is just stunning and so beautiful i have read the saga 4 times and i never get tired of it she is so talented shes amazing ive also read the host its amazing also. watever she decides to do i think her fans will be happy. but i still hope to see midnight sun and maybe a book telling us wat happens to them all. her books give us hope we will find love the way bella and edward share just without the whole vampire thing.

Yes I would be ecstatic if there were to be one.
HOWEVER
I would also be knocked off my feet in shock.
Why?
Well the 'Twilight' series ends at the fourth book? Correct and there is a reason for that which I will explain in a minute.
I hear so many people complaining with the following lines:
"Oh I'm so annoyed that Bella became a vampire at the END of the fourth book"
or
"It's so stupid that she became a vampire at the end of 'Breaking Dawn'."
Then I got to the point of going insane when I told someone she became a vampire at the end and they replied with "What? That's a bust"
I shall now inform you of the primary theme and purpose of the books.
Yes the theme is vampires, blah, blah, blah.
But the theme is also the different obstacles which Bella had to endure and conquer in order to BECOME a vampire. Which is the reason she became a vampire at the END.
So I highly doubt she will be writing a 'fifth' book.
Though I would not be suprised if she wrote a "sister series" a series in which the main character and theme may be:
Reneesme and her life with the Cullens
or
A new protagonist with the Cullens family prime characters in the events that unfold during this new protagonists present and future.
So technically not a "fifth" book but a connection with the Twilight series.

Hell yeah! She did a spectacular job with the first four, so why not? I only caught up with the Twilight craze last month when I saw the first movie. I then found out it was based on a book and immediately got all four of 'em and read them back-to-back! She's truly a gifted author and as far as I am concerned, she's the next best 'fantasy-fiction' author to J.K.Rowling and Stephen King lol XD

I LOVED the first three books with a passion, I started reading them in 2007 I think?
I felt the 4th one was a little disappointing actually...
So if I was 100% that it would definitely be more like her first 3 books I would LOVE her to write a 5th book.

I think she should. Why not? There are so many fans. I wasn't satisfied at all with the last one (I guess if I wasn't satisfied with that, how could I be happy with another one?). It's like the show Friends... you never want it to end!

Yes Yes yes, I think the 4th book left so much potential. There were so many unanswered questions. I am so hoping she will continue this series with more Nessie, Jacob and of course Bella and Edward.

Yes but she is making a 5th about edwards point yeh i think thats great but i would like her to write another book so when ressemee grows up to see what hapens wether she would have a life together because you dont really no what happens to her in breaking dawn
