It would sure make it easy to get to know someone by being with them a few hours every week. I think it's a great idea. You both have something in common which helps with the small talk.

Well, sure, if I liked pottery. It's great to meet people with similar interests. Do you think they have a beer class? :D

I know they have a beer taste testing center here.
Usually around tourist season.

Not just to meet people, but I've enjoyed doing pottery in the past and love to meet new people doing things I like to do.

Id take a pottery class, because it something id like to learn. I wouldnt do it just to meet people though.:)

No. I would take a pottery class if I liked pottery, probably not with the intent to meet someone. On a good note,If you do meet someone you'll have the same interests.

I am actually starting a pottery class with my friends son who is a closed head injury person. I look forward to the time with him and making my own piece of art.
