I have been a sponsor for the March of Dimes Donated to: Air Force Aid Society Organization for Autism Research PETA (never again) March of Dimes World Vision Humane Society Toys for Tots Church (going way back in the day) Others I cannot remember Volunteered at the local animal shelter Donated blood several times Advocated for another local animal shelter by writing an article for the local newspaper that promotes community awareness of the shelter - which runs to this day every week.

Yes, I have been involved in the following activities in my community: (1) As committee member and then later as chairman of a Parents Teachers Association. (2) As committee member, assistant secretary and then secretary of a Residents' Association Committee. (3) As committee member, secretary and chairman of the club's Liaison Committee.

-I was a volunteer firefighter for almost 4 yrs. -I have donated blood since I was 17. -I am trained by the American Red Cross for disaster services and to help run an emergency shelter. -I have the committee chairperson for various PTO committees (Book Fair, Dance, Fund Raising, Newsletter, Volunteer Coordinator, etc). -I have been a key caller for the Family Readiness Group for my husband's unit. -I am the Family Readiness Group leader for his unit now, with over 400 soldiers and their loved ones under me. I have helped in other fundraisers and community service organizations, like Army Family Team Building, raising money for a sick child, and other things too numerous to list.
