Do you need a lawyer? Absolutely.

Sorry to say it, but you've got huge legal problems. You potentially face shoplifting/petty theft charges (at a minimum, but it could be felony burglary if the prosecution can prove you intended to steal before you entered the store). Theft offenses not only result in a criminal record, but they are "priorable," meaning if you are caught stealing in the future, a conviction can be used to increase your sentence (or even elevate a misdemeanor to a felony - see for example California Penal Code section 666).

You also are potentially facing charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

You should consult a lawyer ASAP to protect yourself. You're in a heap of trouble.
