Question

Help answer this question below.

I recently purchased a 1967 Mustang. I was told it was a 67 1/2 and a California Special. I have searched and searched - and i dont think i was told the entire 'truth' - does not matter - LOVE the car anyway. How do i tell if it is a CS?

The California Special included stripes, side scoops, special tail lights, etc.

Thank you - i have done some searching with the VIN number information - found out it is a CS - but not a 67 1/2... just a 67 -

There is no such car. The only Mustang I know is a 1964 1/2. The '64-1/2 Mustang is simply an early-production unit without the refinements that came later.

Your may be a California special, just not a 1/2.
