I have a 1998 dodge neon the oil light keeps coming on, i have checked the oil and it is good, we have drove the car for over a week like this and it doesnt seem to act any different, why does this light keep coming on

      Perhaps the oil pressure sensor itself is failing.  That was one of the more common failings on my first car, a 1969 Falcon.  Every once in a while, the oil light would come on, on the dashboard, and shortly thereafter, oil would actually start leaking out through the failed oil pressure sensor.
