Had the copper coil fitted a month ago. A friend said they suffered a v painful period & was admitted to hospital to be told that she was miscarrying with the copper coil. I have 2 kids & have experienced a traumatic miscarriage in the past. Anyone else?

Anyone know why the Mirena IUD is effective for 7 years in the UK and only 5 in the US and Canada

I have had the mirena ius for aprox.3 months now&they left the string long cuz they screwed up the1st time&now4 some odd reason its short when i check it,it wasnt short last month.should i be concerned?the ius can move you know.

You're reading I had a coil fitted years ago and i thought it came out shortly after as i had a heavy period i have never been able to get pregnant could it still be there i have smear tests at the doctors would they see it if it was still there.
