Of course. I'm not exactly anonymous on here anyway, but if I was, I would give exactly the same answers and ask exactly the same questions

Pretty much yes. When it comes to Bible based questions, these are the exact questions that I ask people at their doors in my ministry.

Yes. I never got into creating online personalities that were very different from me, I would have a hard time keeping them a straight, so this is pretty much me anyway. I think it would actually be more interesting if it were less anonymous, but this being Web 2.0, this is about a "real" as it gets!

I don't really think of my AB name as being anonymous anymore. There are already enough users on here that know who I am, (real name and all), or who identify me with my username that there are already many questions I would not ask under this name. So, I guess you could say my answer would be no, if I had ever felt anonymous to begin with. There are certainly questions I would like answers to that by asking, would reveal personal things about myself that I would rather not have linked to my username. I have considered asking a few anonymous questions, but as yet have not done so.

Of course. No one should judge you just becuase of the questions that you ask. I would still try to help if it were a very personal question that you asked...

Questions on Answerbag used to be anonymous. Having questions no longer anonymous has definitely put a stop to some of my activities.

I'm a horror writer, and I use Answerbag to do research for fictional stories. Thus, my early questions come across to some narrow-minded people as bizarre and disturbing. As a result, religious fanatics who oppose freedom of speech love to make up malicious lies about my character in comments, which I find as rude and annoying.

Thus, identifying who posts questions has definitely had a chilling effect upon my participation on Answerbag :-(

I am 100 percent WYSIWG. I don't kiss anyone's butt and I don't back down either. Then again if someone wants to lambaste me, go right ahead.. I don't take myself too seriously.

You know that I live in NY and have the general area so, if you see me on the street please say hello. You have my full name if you care to unscramble WIDE HYMENS OR MY WINE SHED. You know I am 41, within a few minutes of googling, you would have the goods on me. I hardly think you want to waste your time stalking me. Anyway, I would beat you over the head with my Bible and that would scare most people more than any weapon. LOL

Yes. I am only partially anonymous anyway. I think I am comfortable with that, too.

Yes, the fact that AB is anonymous really doesn't aply to me...which is why I have my actual name as my screen name

Absolutely. I probably take this site more seriously than I should. I've only asked one question so far but I love hearing opinions - usually only on subjects that interest me - and I enjoy offering help to those who seek it (as long as I'm familiar with the problem).

Yeah, I don't see the point of not speaking your mind, all you end up with by not offering your opinion is a bunch of people liking you, while you despise them, I can fight off people who try to assasinate me, but misguided people trying to befreind you is a little trickier.

Pretty much, yes. I might ask some more specific questions, but I certainly wouldn't ask any less controversial questions.

Yep, if you know me, there is nothing I could say that would shock you. Also, I like getting other people's perspective on different items. It's interesting how peoples minds work.
