only if it bit me! (so no)
-
No, I wouldn't. In fact, I would go to great lengths to ensure its safety.
-
No,,they are suspose to be lucky
-
They don't scare me so I don't bother with them.
-
I can't kill anything. I even pick up the spiders and carry them outside.
-
if it had spots i would have to make a rash decision ,then yes:)
-
I would NEVER kill a lady bug. And if I saw someone intentionally kill one, they are going to get a speech from me they won't like.
-
My kids are vegans and vegetarians...we do not kill anything. I live on the bay and right now that it is getting cold out the spiders are moving in.....I see six that I have to turn back to the wild tomorrow...
-
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! :):)
-
Not on purpose but if they happen to be walking where I am..or happen to be flying in front of my windshield..well..they gotta die..LOL
-
No, they're pretty and harmless so I just leave them alone.
-
We call them ladybirds in Britain and I remember being on the beach at Weston Super Mare once when there were thousands of them. I didn't realise before that they would bite. I quite happily killed as many of them as I could to stop them biting me.
-
never never never.. they are very important as natural pesticides to some farmers.. :) besides I LOVE them and collect anything with them on it.. and every spring i make a jar to keep a few in to look at and then let go.. love the little ladybug garden!!

If I had a boy and I wanted to impress him with my magnifying glass ... no, I would let the kid do it. That's just the kind of nice guy I am. :-)
-
Ladybugs always bite me :(
-
No, I just flick them if they land on me. Probably hurts them a bit, but I don't squish them. Funny you asked this question. I'm used to red ones, but I had a yellow one land on me the other day. First time I saw a yellow one.
-
No they are very beneficial insects.
-
I try not to kill any insect and will do all I can to catch them and send them outside.
-
If it was in self defense...
-
no way. theyre good luck. im not as much of a bughugger like those buddhist monks from the movie 7 years in tibet where they halted construction on a building in order to dig out the earthworms first. (but im pretty close)...
-
No! My kids and I play with them sometimes though.
-
I have to vacuum them out in the spring. We didn't used to have so many but the farmers brought them in to control boll weevils in cotton, not we have millions and they stick up the house.
-
Only the invasive ones
-
Never ever, ever.:) They are up there with praying mantis.
-
No never :)
-
No. They are very beneficial insects ... and kinda cute! Heck, I don't even kill Boxelder bugs, and they are a flat out pain in the butt. Now ... imagine that "Ladybugs" were the size of June Bugs with great big pinchers. I bet that everyone would change their posture. Personally, I would treat them as I do spiders. Cute and tiny gets a free pass. Big and ugly will be "murdered" without a second thought.
-
never ever.
-
Not intentionally
-
Bet I have, but feel it is wrong to kill them.
-
no - it is bad luck
-
Everytime i see a Ladybug or one lands on me, i have extremely good luck. Fact or fiction? Who knows. give me a bucket of Ladybugs and watch me guard them till forever.

Never have never will.
-
Not it all.
-
No, never they are suspose to be good luck. :)
-
Never do. I like when they land on me. Butterflys too.
-
No way. They're good luck, and they eat other bugs. When I was a kid, we called them "ladybirds." And we sang, "Ladybird, ladybird, Fly away home. Your house is on fire, Your children will burn." P.S.: They were originally called "birds of Our Lady", i.e., Mother Mary. Ergo they were blessed, and naturally good luck.
-
No, killing a ladybug would not be a good thing to do if you would not like to have a lot of bugs in your backyard or any other place. Ladybugs are known for getting rid of pests, and so killing a ladybug would be multiplying the amount of bugs you have. This information goes for spiders as well, but the only difference is that ladybugs are cuter, and they can't really hurt you. Actually, I asked if ladybugs could hurt anyone in anyway, and I'm hoping to receive an answer soon :)
-
never...
-
"Ladybug" is an antiquated sexist judgement. Do you mean "female bug"? ;-)
-
