Firefox! Better security and less pop-ups and crap. And you can customize it as much as you want...and tabbed browsing...gotta have it.

Firefox. Internet explorer is nothing compared to it.

These 3 browsers all have their pros and cons, although many would argue that the IE's list of pros would be shorter and its cons would be longer than the others. But IE isn't totally useless. It does have some nice features due to its tight integration with Windows, the major drawback being the security implications of that tight integration. Firefox has attracted fans due to its ability to be customized (extensions) and its leanness compared to IE. Firefox has security issues too, but they tend to be fewer than IE and often are patched within days of discovery. I have no personal experience with Safari even though I own a Macbook, I installed Firefox on my Mac simply because I like (and am used to) Firefox and like synchronizing my bookmarks between my PC and my MacBook. I have heard that on the Mac OS, Safari works very well, but the Windows version is not too great - not surprising, it wasn't really designed for Windows. Perhaps others will offer their experiences with Safari compared to Firefox and IE.

Netscape.
-
Firefox. It works on Linux, OS X and even Windows, so I can have the same experience whichever OS I use. IE is a plain no as it is so limited and basic.
-
Firefox all the way! It's faster, leaner, meaner, and greener than all the others! Except Google Chrome that is, that has a substantially faster engine for rendering JavaScript.
