  • It really depends on the schools, but I have found it more common, at least in my state, for you to get reduced tuition for being an instate student.
  • No, they don't offer any special deductions in tuition for out of state students. I have to move around alot and I have checked every state and every school. Trust me. Everyone gets the same tuition fees. In state or out of state. Even if you apply for financial aid, you are still getting the same fees, only someone else is paying for you to go!
  • The reason I stated that is because If you come to a school and you are out of state, no matter what school it is, you have to pay a higher price then residents of that state. There are no specific reductions in tuition cost if you are from out of state. kthnx
  • No, but they may raise the tuition depending on the school. However, they might offer you a scolarship because of your good grades.
  • Yes. If you have good grades and do well on the SAT, a lot of colleges will waive the out-of-state fee. I am not sure exactly how good your grades and SAT scores have to be, but my out-of-state fee was waived (I graduated in the top 2% of my high school class and made a 1410 on the combined math and verbal portions of the SAT). That's the only way I can afford to go to a school outside of my state!
