  • This is pretty complicated, a job for a lawyer. The gist of it is this: When the executor accepts that role he/she is both eligible to be paid from the estate and bound by fiduciary duty to carry out the will. If a beneficiary or a creditor has an objection they can raise it in probate court. If one is not involved in the estate as a creditor or a beneficiary, one would have no standing in court.
