Question

Help answer this question below.

I have a friend that supposedly is in a witness protection program....I am not allowed to know where he lives, or to be in his home, until he's had a "security check" done on me....is this true? Or is this guy just yanking my chain?

Your friend, Yank, is full of crap or he has a big mouth.
I would imagine the first thing you are told when you enter the witness program is "DON'T TELL ANYONE YOU ARE IN THE WITNESS PROTECTION PROGRAM"

You're having your chain yanked. I'd consider this person worthy of a laugh, but not much else.

If he were in a witness protection program why would he tell you? That would make him vulnerable if he really was. He wouldn't be able to divulge that to anyone. He's yanking your chain.

I dont know, makes sense to me. But then again, if he took on a different identity (new name, different color hair), you wouldn't know he would be in the orgram becuase he probably wouldn't be allowed to tell you. Not to mention the security check thing seems to defeat the purpose of being in the witness protection porgram (it would make the perosn aware of your real identity). Whats that saying, take whatever he says as a grain of salt...or something like that. Well, you know what I mean.
