Why do radical islamics find the killing of jews, christians and non beleivers justifiable, when the Koran clearly states that christians, jews will have there own reward in the afterlife?

  However, it's been pretty clearly expressed by various people in Iraq, who have in turn been connected with the post-invasion bombings there, that they want the U.S. out.
  So even if the absence of bombings before isn't confirmable, there's still pretty good evidence that the bombings in Iraq are retaliatory.
  And even besides it doesn't exactly make sense to bomb soldiers... y'know, just because. Obviously they want *Something* from the U.S., and I can't think of much else that they would want.

• I'd just like to add one thing here: Dismissing terrorists as solely "Brainless" or "Mentally Ill" or "Fanatical" is rather shortsighted and possibly dangerous.
  I'm sure there *Are* some terrorists who are just plain crazy (schizophrenic, etc.), but accepting that some do have genuine reasons, however illogical, for their actions, is the only way to ever come close to winning the "War on Terror".

• My statement on brainless and mentally ill applies to our own home grown domestic terrorists. And they hit all the time. Know why you don't hear of this greater threat? Because telling would soon have more doing the same. When you hear of disasters in the news though consider the cause. I hedge from getting specific as I do not want to give a sick mind an idea. Were I to get specific and 100 people read, I think 1 would be the brainless, mentally ill type I describe. And no schizophrenics tend to be pretty harmless this is another group under the DSM-IVA definition.

• I will give a little statistic. About 11,000 die yearly from domestic terrorism. Though that is my own definition. Officially it falls under about 12 other crime definitions. Yearly that is nearly 3 times as many as died in 9/11. Nope! clinic bombings is very minor. You would miss recognizing the bigger terrorist acts for something else. Usually accidental. But they are not accidents I assure you.

• I was in law enforcement over 32 years. I know that revealing the specific terrorist acts would release more of them. Were I able to warn to report or prevent, I would be specific. I do or rather once had access to official statistics. As for the terrorist acts, it is much more destruction of property than lives. Consider the loss of life collateral damage. And the terrorist acts are in the area of $26 Billion each year. And that nearly 5 years ago.
  I wish I was amusing on this. But I am not. In fact there is a nationwide network of cameras to attempt to catch these terrorists and prevent future acts. Though you cant cover everything and it still takes active human observation to actually prevent anything.
  
  Yes they are inspired by ideas. Example: school shootings. Others try to top previous. Had they not heard of the event they would not have thought it up on their own. Such happens in clusters as reported by news. And for that reason, I remain silent on specifics. Ridicule me if you like. But I do have considerable experience on this.   Whether people are inspired by past acts or not, the question is whether they will be inspired by *You* mentioning it here and now, which they will not.

• No, as I said if I revealed the names of the crimes I would be inciting others to follow in the commission. There are some things media should keep confidential this way as releasing the information would cause more. And furthermore my source is official police and FBI files you are not privy to. Nor I. When I finally quit the sheriff's office my confidentiality agreement was for 25 years. That means I can talk in March 2030 without going to prison. Likewise, I was a US Army Colonel (Reserve only. In Active Army I was a Sergeant First Class) . I cannot talk of confidential military matters concerning Viet Nam until the year 2025, if then.

  If more information were kept open to begin with, it would never be necessary for the government to lie, because the public would be able to watch them closely enough to prevent them from going outside of their authority in the first place.

• Well, either you interpret the information, and reach the conclusion that it is potentially harmful and should be kept secret, or you simply don't think at all, and accept the conclusion that is handed to you during orientation.
  Psych tests (to an extent), as well as most of the testing and training entailed in the process of accessing truly important information, is thoroughly designed to weed out those who might come to a different conclusion.

  For example, you could look at the information surrounding a given incident, come to the conclusion that, for whatever subjective reasons, it should be kept secret.
  Another person could look at that same information and come to the conclusion that it should be known, based on equally subjective reasons.
  And from a truly objective perspective, you would both be equally right.

• And why yes in fact I used that minor in psychology. I volunteered at the VA Hospital as a Doctor's Assistant with prescription authority dealing with psychiatric patients. You appear a bit schizophrenic by the content of your writing in both your profile and here. No problem though. I've seen many do quite well. In fact like yourself better than average on IQ. 6 weeks or so and you should be fine. Main thing at the VA is I was in admitting mainly for psychiatric patients. • They're a darn sight better than an anti-American, pro-Taliban novice muslim extremist who can't see beyond her nose. Any educated muslim would laugh at your ridiculous representation of Islam. The Hadith was written 1600 years ago so how can it refer to today? "...ask them where the "perfect scripture of the christians and jews is" they go blank..." • You (Theby) have made a fool out of yourself. 1600 years ago there was no such thing as Islam. That would have been over 200 years before Islam. They did in fact say that the Christians and Jews teachings and beliefs were corrupted that is the whole reason for the Koran being revealed to Muhammad in perfect Arabic. Do you even know what the Hadith is?? Go home and educate yourself kiddy.

  midas81, Islam started with Adam (PBUH.) I have the whole collection of the Hadith and read them every other night. I am most probably older than you. Wish I was a kid again though. LOL

• Well Geroge is an idiot. I am pretty sure that if we had an intelligent man in office then the war could've been avoided. 3,000 people would be with their friends or families right now but they are six feet under. However Bush isn't all to blame. The propaganists in the middle east, Osama Bin Laden, his chief executives, the state terror sponsers, and his mercenaries. However as a man of the United States who attended a couple years of Yale I would hope that instead of talking about food and thinking about vacations he would instead be negotiating with the people of the Middle East. Ahhh too late!

• What was stupid was Bush kept telling Saddam we were going to get him over and over. He should have said it once and no more. Take him out with a $12 Million cruise missile. War's over. But no. Bush had to keep mouthing off and Saddam was never in one place more than 3 hours. What an idiot! Look what it has cost now.
