  • Yes. Some yoga teachers start with a super gentle class, just to help you stretch out. I would say look for this or if you do a beginning class, don't push yourself. I think it is great for you to want to do this!
  • You have clearance from your doctor so I would say "definately". :) I believe with yoga there are different levels and the instructor would know which is best for you to start at. The great thing is you made a healthy life enhancing choice and that is awesome.
  • Why not! I LOVE yoga, just because your a bit overweight dosn't mean you can't do it. I'm a bit puggy myself and find it very relaxing and energizing at the same time, it gives me energy to become more active!
  • Yes, by all means, yoga is for all people regardless of age, fitness level, or weight. It can help you with your strength, flexibility, balance, and your levels of stress.
