I don't understand why so many people think aliens are made up. Out of all the planets in the universe it's doubtful we are the ONLY one with life. So why do so many people say it's stupid to believe in them?

If I told you there are fairies dancing inside the Holy Grail, why wouldn't you believe me? It's because there isn't any proof of alien life that we can examine.

i think alot of people are just plain scared. i know of some who don't think dinosaurs & cave men aren't real.

maybe because scientists say that they can't find anything that could support life...but who says aliens have the same needs as humans

for many, seeing is believing. and since there's is no "scientific proof" of aliens that is accepted by the general masses as well as the scientific community, the common mindset will be that they do not exist.

i wonder the same thing too. there is so much space in the universe that how can people think we have it all to ourselves. i don't know why people think its stupid. Maybe its a thing that no one wants to get caught thinking about, ya know a popularity thing. They are afraid of getting called a nerd.

As humans most of us are unable to believe or have faith in anything we have not personally seen or experienced. The prime example of this is the question of other life forms. It's like trying to picture infinity. Everyone is going to have a different idea. Besides a few people the Existence of God is really the only thing that humans do not need physical proof to believe in. And, as far as that goes there are many people that can find what is in their opinion a piece of physical proof of Thier existence.
