Did Rowling ever say or hint that Harry Potter will die in book 7?

    She has many times hinted that he may not survive the series. Since he is the protaganist, he has to survive until at least the final book. In fact, we now know he survives book 6, so if he dies it will have to be in book 7.

    I don't know about recently, but when she first started the series, she said he would die in book 7. In fact in every interview I read, she was asked why there would only be 7 books and her response was usually something along the lines of "How do you Harry will be alive after book 7?"
