My soul mate and I were reunited on Good Friday; after almost 5 years being kept apart. Do you consider it to be a miracle? Why/why not?

You're reading Where does the belief that St. Peter waits at the golden gates of heaven originate?
Comments
I'm unclear as to how this means St. Peter waits at the pearly (or golden) gates: "And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." Do you mean 16:19?

Yes I did sorry but the first part of it goes as well if you read 16 :18 and 16: 19 consecutively it all fits.

So this metaphor was interpreted literally by somone?
by AntigoneRising on December 4th, 2006
You sound surprised? Thats the root of just about every mainstream christian belief, a metaphor interpreted litteraly.
by Coheed on December 4th, 2006
No, I'm not surprised.
