  • Except for Republicans. They have very discriminating tastes
  • they eat nothing vampires just drink bloood
  • Would you like some crackers to go with that blood?
  • Vampires kinda seem to hate garlic.
  • no. what they drink sure makes up for it though.
  • Well, if vampires did exist they could do so just from the blood of others, but you would have to wonder if they ever get curious to try the "old" food again....this is aside from psychic vamps who eat food, but also supposedly feed off of some sort of energy given off from "victims"...
  • Yes. Vampires eat human food and whatever they can find.
  • No, they hate vegetables.
  • yes, but if they're immortal then they dont have to but they still can, but it'd be better if they didn't because they'll have to throw it up later.=[
  • Alright who is hitting the bong again.
  • Yes, absolutely. In order to blend into society, it is imperative to develop particular tolerances and a "safe list" of certain foods. Certain textures, spices, etc. can have a very negative impact so it is best to know what you can order, safely, in a restaurant or in other social situations. Younger/less-experienced vampires are unable to go as long without blood. Older/more-experienced vampires "feed" less and have better tolerance for consuming perishable food items. I am able to eat a rather extensive list and "pass" myself in society very well. I cannot speak for others, but I am able to tolerate: Medium-rare to rare steak in small amounts (texture is key -- if it is at all dry, I cannot handle it) For holiday obligations: turkey, duck, venison (in very small amounts, and again a moist texture is key. Chicken and goose are always too dry.) Oysters (cooked, smoked, and raw) Sea scallops (lightly cooked) Cheeses of all kinds Yogurt (Organic, and Greek best for digestion) Olive Oil Olives Mushrooms of all kinds Asparagus Artichoke Eggplant Tomato Most hot peppers Leeks (in small amounts) Spinach (raw only, small amounts) Berries (fresh, ripe, and in season) Cherries (again, fresh and in season only) Grapes (black and red only - green grapes make me ill) Nuts Seeds Espresso Red Wine with no problems (white wine, beer, and most liquors are not tolerated well at all) Absinthe (I think the herbal component of wormwood and angelica makes it tolerable) Anisette (Again, I think it's the anise that makes it tolerable) Certain herbal teas Certain herbal liquers Spring Water Coconut Water Almond Milk or Coconut Milk (unsweetened, small amounts) Sea salt (no regular table salt as the iodine causes imbalances) Paprika Cayenne Pepper Tabasco Sauce Honey Rosemary Angelica Lavender Vanilla Dark Chocolate Natural sugar in very small amounts Anise Ginger Cinnamon Nutmeg And -- yes, in small quantities -- GARLIC! Nightshade vegetables are tolerated well. As you can see, I can have a relatively "normal" diet amongst colleagues and associates if necessary. Breakfast could be espresso and a small amount of yogurt and berries. Italian is always an excellent choice for me for lunch or dinner engagements as I can order a small eggplant parmigiana and sip a nice red wine with no difficulty -- as long as I avoid the pasta, bread, and salad. Beans, beets, lettuces, potatoes, rice, grains in general, and most "bulky" and fibrous foods -- all to be avoided. Apart from yogurt and cheese, other dairy products are to be avoided. The "safe" foods will eventually be absorbed by our bodies (can take up to a week or two though) and does not have to be regurgitated if tolerance has been carefully acquired and developed over time. Foods that are consumed that cannot be tolerated must be regurgitated and can cause severe cramping, bloating, a distinct face-flush rash that resembles very early putrefaction, exhaustion, and other ill effects. Basically, the food items will sit in the residual gut and rot if tolerance has not developed or as it is developed. As you can imagine, decomposition of this material in a system that is designed to resist decomposition in all forms can prove problematic. In time, the vestigial digestive system can be trained to re-develop some of its rudimentary workings. I did not intend to write a voluminous reply, but felt your genuine question deserved a more thorough reply than "Count Chocula cereal" which, incidentally, we were would never consume.
  • They can if they so desire, in most cases-such as needing to put up appearances-but they have no need to. It doesn't do anything for them. Unless they're a dampyl...I wonder, in that case, if they're cannibalistic or just enjoy some really bloody steak.
