  • If they do prefer, it's because most men in the US are circumcised; it's a matter of familiarity. Circumcision is a debated issue with supporters on both sides. Those in favor cite research that strongly suggests that circimcised men are at lesser risk for getting STDs, less urinary tract infections, and less risk of penile cancer. From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circumcision#Medical_aspects -------------------------- "The direct medical benefits of neonatal circumcision are still under debate, with various studies reaching different opinions. The studies have been conducted using cost-benefit analyses. The complication morbidity is compared to the potential gain in expected longevity, and the medical costs of circumcision are compared to the expected reduction in lifetime health costs. In the words of the BMA, “There is significant disagreement about whether circumcision is overall a beneficial, neutral or harmful procedure. At present, the medical literature on the health, including sexual health, implications of circumcision is contradictory, and often subject to claims of bias in research.” Biases notwithstanding, some studies decided that circumcision has a net benefit, some decided that it has a net decrement, and others decided that the benefits and risks balance each other out and that other factors must be taken into consideration. The American Medical Association, American Academy of Pediatrics, and the Royal Australasian College of Physicians all suggest that anasthesia be used if performing circumcision."
  • I prefer intact (the term for uncircumcised) men. The link in CannedHam's answer should give you sufficient information on the pros and cons of male circumcision. Some studies have found an increase in erectile dysfunction following circumcision: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foreskin http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexual_effects_of_circumcision http://www.cirp.org/library/anatomy/ohara/
  • In studies where a woman has experience with circumcised and intact men they usually prefer a man that is intact. It makes sense if you think about it, a complete male is designed to provide pleasure to a complete female. In the US many women are unfamiliar with an intact male, so they base their preference on what they are familiar with and not experience. No medical association in the world (except Israel) recommends routine circumcision. In fact in most of the worlds national medical groups consider the risks of complication/damage outweight the possible benefits. Europe has never adopted routine circumcision as a necessary procedure, and when a circumcision is performed for medical reasons, the numbers are incredibly low in comparison to the numbers/percentage of US med circumcisions. This make the US doctors look biased toward circumcision or incompetent. Circumcision has always been supported for it's medical "SnakeOil benefits". Whatever the major medical problem of the day, circumcision is supposed to prevent or cure it. HIV, Cancer, Epilepsy , Clubfoot, Insanity, etc..., Below is a site w/comments from Dr. Dean Edell , a Jewish doctor and parent to a family with both circumcised sons and intact sons. • Yes, I definitely do. My husband got circumcised after we were married and he loves it. So do I. So much cleaner and "convenient". I love the look and feel of it. He says his sensation is so much better. I can see that it is.
  • I live in the UK, where circumcision is rare and so women here prefer circumcised. In the US, I note boys worry about being teased for being uncut - here, boys are more likely to feel self-conscious about being circumcised. I work in a library, and in a teen advice book I found there is even a section on how to deal with bullying for being circumcised and how to deal with girls not being used to it or self-consciousness about it. I prefer uncircumcised, because to me it looks better and I find the look of a cut one a turn off. Also because uncircumcised feels better, more natural and is far easier to masturbate. Some argue there are cleanliness benefits to being circumcised, but I had one circumcised partner who had far more odour than my scrupulously clean uncircumcised boyfriend.
  • Yes there are benefits to being circumcised. WHO recommends it for HIV prevention and recently studies show it prevents herpes and HPV. Check this article: http://thecondomzone.blogspot.com/2009/03/newfound-benefits-of-circumcision.html
  • I prefer uncircumcised. Its natural and wonderful, and far more practical. Masturbating someone who's circumcised is difficult and doesnt feel so good.
  • Circumcised men are definitely better lovers. The foreskin slides too much. I find that the with a circumcised man it is much more pleasurable. Our of the 100 or so lovers I have had about 80 were circumcised and they were much better. In all cases gave I gave them oral and a circumciosed man is much easier to bring to a climax. Similarly when masturbating. The circumcised man also provided an uninterupted ejaculatory stream of semen. In all cases when I have masturbated them and they have ejaculated, the whole force and tracjectory of semen is more powerful and direct. whereas uncircumsited men tend to dribble. It is much easier to fit a condom on a circumcised man, also I have found that the sliding effect can cause the condom to come off more easily. I like to feel the full force of the semen hitting me hard and fast.
  • The foreskin is the primary location of erogenous sensations in men. Circumcision reduces sexual pleasure considerably. 85% of men in the world are uncircumcised. There is no proof that circumcision reduces the risk of infection.
