Because marriage is a big deal. You can love someone but not want to spend the rest of your life with them. They may want to test the waters more. Or it may just be a breath of fresh air knowing that they are still free not tied down, no responsibility. They have you but they also have their free time, guy time. Once u get married ALOT more is expected of both sides. Guys have to fix everything and do yardwork, work hard and provide, pay bills keep on top of things... Women are expected to take care of their man keep the place clean, work, give sex alot, keep on top of appointments, holidays, parties, cook.... Then there's the little everyday things that u both do that drive the other person crazy. Then there's more important things like ur values- which will affect how u live together, treat each other, spend your time, and your money, where u live, how often u see family, friends, how much alone tome you get.... It's really a lot. Plus people change and not always for the better of being together. I think that it's better that men are more cautious of marriage and women should be more like that. Of course guys reasoning may be different. But marriage is a big thing. Women want to be romanced and have a beautiful wedding-- months later they are overwhelmed with the responsibility and what's expected from them just as men are. Don't be so eager to marry someone just because you love them an they love you- just enjoy ur time together. Love is NOT enough to keep a marriage happy. It's a lot of work. And it's even more work if your backgrounds are different. There'sy novel about that

Just not mature enough if you cant commit.. Love does take time to grow and sex gets in the way if theres no commitment in the first place..
