Have you ever felt forgotten when your significant other has not gotten you a card/gift for a special holiday? Including birthdays, Valentine's or Christmas?

Ummm...rarely. I tend to forget holidays and birthdays too. And I'm not a big gift person. I feel forgotten when the everyday stuff stops. The hugs kisses and I love yous.

Oh, boy, have I got a story to tell! First ex-husband. We were separated but had agreed to try counseling and maybe get back together. In early June his birthday comes, and I take him out to dinner and a movie. Since he had phone service but not a phone, I bought him one as a gift. Nice, expensive piece of equipment, too, cost me 80 smackaroos. And we're talking 20 years ago. My birthday is two weeks later. I don't even get so much as a phone call from that phone I just gave him. He calls me later, on the Fourth of July, to tell me he'd been seeing another woman since March, and he was going to be with her from now on. He let me spend all that money on him, knowing full well he was going to go home to her! Yegads, what a jerk!
