Question

Help answer this question below.

Is it cheating if you are "swinging" and two opposite spouses have a quickie on their own then deny it for three days? Are you allowed to react if you "opened that door" together? This was the first/last time, but now there is a lot of hurt/confusion

if you are swingers then that is something you have agreed to together. I know swingers and it is only ok if all partners are involved. if it was done behind your back that was not part of being a swinger, that is cheating. I know somebody that him and his wife were huge on swinging, she left him when he slept with the wife of another couple they were swingers with because it was done when his wife and her husband were not present.

They did it without the other two spouses knowing. I would call that cheating. To me swinging means going out with other like minded people to end up switching anyway. Never did it myself, that is just how I understand it. When the other two meet without you two knowing, that is an affair.

Most swinging couples have a very clear agreement about what the "rules" are. It would depend on the agreement. If the agreement was broken, yes, it was cheating.

Because it was done without the other's knowledge and consent - then it is cheating. That was a dangerous door you opened - which has caused permanent damage.

I think so, mostly because of the lying involved.
