    alone...then the only person to get on my nerves (and that I get on the nerves of) is myself.

    Aren't all relationships "so-so unsatisfying" after a while? Or at least have the ups and downs? Will stick with the known and stay in my so-so relationship then explore the unknown and, ultimately, possibly, end up in another so-so relationship.

    Whether the water is hot or cold, after you're in it for a while, it will always feel tepid.
