40 on the all time. 69 over the last week. I've noticed the new alltime ranking isn't as volotile as the old one. It's a LOT harder to climb up to the first page now.

Sage, but its like climbing the ladder of success. By that I mean its very slow and with every step you gain experience.

I do want to move up in rank - which means help more people. I like to think that getting points is an indication that my answers are being read and are helping. In as much as rank = helping people it is good. I recently became level 50 Sage. I participate on some other Q & A sites where there is no indication what-so-ever that the answers are ever read. I spend a lot less time on them because of that. It seems like I might as well just write answers on a piece of paper and burn them in the fireplace. At least they will keep me warm,

I am "authority" I have never been an authoirty on anything, so right now I am cool. Although, I am not sure what comes next, that may be even cooler!

lvl 5 contributor, so yes, it would be nice to rise a bit. Not as much because of the higher lvl though, but it would be nice to be able to give (and take) more points. Plus, I sometimes feel that people don't reply as much to a lvl 5 guy who can max give 2 points, as they do to someone at a higher lvl.
