  • Don't be so naive. It isn't just Democrats that have been undermining the free enterprise system. There are plenty of liberal "Republicans" who do not want to see American companies prosper -- EVER! These "liberals" are so blinded by their Marxist-inspired agendas that they fail to comprehend even the most basic of economic principles. That being ... if you want LESS of something, simply tax it. How quickly they forget that it was a modest tea tax that fueled a Revolution that established the Great American Experiment. Now we are saddled with the second highest corporate tax burden in the world! Why? Because our vile vote-buying elected criminals need to pay for all of the pie-in-the-sky promises that they made to voters, in order to be reelected. Brain-dead voters will invariably sell their votes to the highest bidder. Any candidate who offers the greatest personal incentives will invariably win the hearts and minds of the most greedy and self-absorbed. These incentives include universal healthcare, universal childcare, Socialist Insecurity, thousands of grant programs, hundreds of welfare programs, and countless earmarks. Our Founding Fathers warned us against voting ourselves largese. We have failed to heed that warning for much of the past century. The fact that we have the second highest corporate tax in the world is precisely why we have allowed corporate America to outsource American jobs to more affordable locations in order to remain competitive. Yet the same self-serving voters are the first to complain about the export of precious American jobs. No one seems to get it! They just can't have it both ways. Personally, I feel that we are beyond all hope of ever reversing this destructive trend.
  • Your question is more of a statement, so I am assuming that any answer or input that refutes your statement will be considered wrong or "naive". primary example General Motors. this company has been losing money for the last 7 years. they lobbied congress to get rid of the emission standards, claiming that they were to costly to enforce. President Bush did so. while losing money, this company continued to expand plant operations in Mexico and China. the last plant being built in 2006 in Mexico. The CEO's continued to receive bonuses every year, although the company was operating in the red. when the situation started coming to light. they quickly blamed the Unions. production cost in the US were higher because the plants are older, and not upgraded. when the world financial crisis hit, Toyota was able to retool plants to build smaller cars. not GM, they had to close the plants and increase production in the few plants that built small cars. GM has known about the fuel crisis since the oil embargo in the mid 1970's and yet they continued to market SUV's and "The Hummer". Now, do you really think this is all "Democrats" fault? sounds like poor management along with short term greed.
  • Both political parties want American companies to profit since that is the key to jobs and prosperity. What policy makers would like to rein in is the corporate and financial abuses that have come to light where CEOS and top executives are paid billions in bonuses while their companies founder.
  • You can thank the Republican Party and it's war on the working class for that.
  • i dont even know why people answer your question, i know you're just trollin, im not gonna dr you or anything, but come on, ask legit questions
