  • Yes, the good for all is important than a piece of paper. It doesn't define my marriage. I can wait for that.
  • YES! I vote every year. No Presidential primary winner from either party to this point has supported gay marriage. To this point George Bush through inattention has done more for gay people than the whole of the Democrat party. (sad) PS. +4 fair question don't know why you were DRed!?!
  • I would vote for the economy. Eventually gay rights will win out because the young people are more supportive.
  • Not hypothetical at all -- this election we have two major candidates, Obama and McCain, who oppose marriage equality. Of the two, Obama is better on gay issues, and better on economic issues, so it's a win/win situation.
  • Yes I would.
  • Depends. There's a difference between not supporting it and being actively against it. If the candidate says, hey, I'm keeping my hands off this, whatever, that's better than we've had. If the candidate is actively against it... Unless he's being acclaimed by economists as having the perfect solution, no. I have a hard time believing someone who had so little empathy as to be actively against someone else's rights would have a solution that would be beneficial to more people than just a few.
  • Yes, I would. I have to put my own family before the needs of others. Our country needs someone with a strong economic/budgeting plan before it needs anything else right now.
  • Absolutely!
