    Ford anything is good! For one thing easy to work on, and parts are easy to find!

    We are on our fourth Ranger. We have been very happy with all of them. Ours took alot of abuse and still ran great.

    Right now hubby drives a 1998 and I am driving a 2001.

    Ford Ranger has been ranked the best 1/4 ton pickup most years since 1984-85. Ford trucks by far are the most reliable truck around contrary to what others may say. Very dependable and cheap to maintain. Look it up in consumer reports or any other reputable source.

    Well, I had an BA 67 ford ranger, I brought it used in 1980 for 650., had a camper shell on it that I didn't need so I sold it for 250. It had an old tired 352 with 3 on the tree. used it as it for a year and the 352 had to go. My other truck (55 ford) had set for 6 years while in the service. So I swapped engines, I put the 66/67 428 merc super marauder in the 67 and the 352 in the 55 and sold the 55 for 1500 bucks. This gave me money to upgrade the 67 with a T-18 four speed. new wheels and tires, paint, and interior. That 428 would pull anything I put in the bed or behind. Suprisely it got better gas mileage with the bigger engine.

    I had three newer smaller rangers since and I have yet to wear one out, just upgraded or got tire of them, Best small truck by far and not a tin can like the rice invassion.
