I don't have many childhood memories. I can recall some domestic abuse in the house, but it is unclear if those have formed from my mother telling me in therapy or not. My clearest memory is from when I was 8 years old and met my biological father for the first and last time.
At age two we lived in Hawaii on a military base and I remember watching amphibious tanks going in and out of the ocean from my back yards.
Back when I was about 2, I remember being taken out of the kitchen and left in my cot on my own. I screamed the place down. Next memory I have is when I had just turned 3, I kept asking my mum 'Am I 4 yet?' Lol!
I remember at the age of four showing off to a group of girls at my infants school, by sticking my finger up a tap and squirting water everywhere. The outcome was that I was taken to the headmistress's office where my clothes had to be dried, and I felt very guilty.
See, led astray by women even at that age. :)
One of my earliest memories, is playing in the living room of the house we were living in at the time, and I actually remember looking down at my little feet. I was wearing a blue jumpsuit. I must of only been about two years old at the most.
My first memory is either being bathed in the sink, or eating baby food. I have no idea what age I was, but those are my first memories ever.
Being shown magic tricks by my Grandfather, where he'd make lollies and candy "appear" from behind my ear :)
I remember when i was about three and i was sliding down the stairs in my old house on my butt with my best friend. then his brother came and pushed us...thats probably the earliest thing i can remember.
Falling onto barbed wire (spelling mistake?)
My mother telling me not to shove peas up my nose.
Realizing that I had the body of the baby and the mind of an adult and couldn't control my limbs or speak.
I was 2, and I was looking for my plastic key set. As I walked down the hallway, I saw them hanging on the doorknob of my parents bedroom door. I realized that they were opaque, and I have known that word ever since.
I remember the whole house, layout and decor of each room. I was 1 1/2 to 2 in that house.
I don't exactly know how old I was probably 2-3 but I remember heaps, like kicking my half brother off the couch, who moved out when I was 4 so thats how I came up with an age
I remember sneeking out of my house when I was 3 early in the morning while my parents were asleep to play with my neighbor a few doors down :) My parent's had a chain on the door, but I grabbed a chair and climbed on it to take it off.
My earliest memory involves accidently tipping my neighbor over in his rocking chair and running like hell.
It's hard to know if you really recall an old memory or just know it because your parents talked about it later.
But I'm going to guess I remember for real on my own getting a Vroom bike for christmas back in the early 60's
When I was three years old, I can remember my brother riding home from school on the bus, and I would sit in the dog house waiting for him.
I was about 3-4 (I think?) and my foot got stuck in a bus door as we got out. The bus driver started to drive off and my dad was holding me up and running alongside the bus trying to pull my foot out from between those damn pneumatic doors. The bus driver finally noticed what was happening and stopped. What was likely only about 15 meters seemed like a couple blocks to me at the time heh. I didn't even crap my pants :-) I have fuzzy earlier memories but none as clear as that one.
When my Sister dropped me on my head when i was young! lol
I had to be about 3 i guess I was at the park for a picnic with my family feeding the ducks.
i have a memory when i was about 18 months old. I was in my crib and my dad had given me a clear soft plastic Indy race car( back then they looked like cigars with wheels)filled with little balls of candy. I remember holding the car snd looking at it along with my dad who was looking @ me with a big smile.
Truma --
Being bathed in the kitchen sink and playing with three plastic boats, red, blue and yellow, sweet!!
My first memory is riding a little bike I got for my .... I think it was my 3rd birthday. It had training-wheels, was black with yellow writing and saftey pads. I rode it around in the kitchen before sunrise lol, I remember it was still dark.
It was all very exciting.
My very, very first memory was of my first steps. My mum doesn't think I can remember this, but I can. I went to see my dad in prison with her, and he tried to hold me. He scared me so much I managed to run three steps into my mums arms. I didn't know who he was.
I walking home with my mom and sister from the pool. I was about 3.
I remember playing T-ball when I was 4...Don't really remember anything before that
My earliest memory is sitting around the aluminum-legged table of one of my childhood homes, in the dark, with a blue birthday cake and yellow frosting. I am blowing out the candles. From my description, my mother has told me that she is pretty sure it is my fourt birthday. Just family sitting around the table.
Honestly.. My uncle hitting me in the face with a football on accident while I was outside making a mudd pie.
Singing to my Winnie the Pooh lamp that played the song too! haha
My first day at school when I was 5 years old. I remember we had 'colouring in' with wax crayons.
Most of my childhood was wiped out from repeated grandmal sezures, the first I truly remember would be from second grade, kissing a girl I liked:p
Stuck in my crib picking at the seams of the newly hung wallpaper, enjoying it SO much that I peeled huge bare spaces and got into SO much trouble...about 2 1/2 years old
Age 3~raising a baby duck and a baby rabbit +5
its a horrible one and i cant share share it here... good question though+2
visiting a great grandmother at the hospital
I first gained consciousness at 4. I remember waking up stunned looking at the ceiling. I know no one in the house but they assured me I know them so I went along with the program and free meals
Things from I was 2 (my parents have told me it was in 1984, the year I turned 2)
Being a toddler in Hawaii. Our house was on stilts and I would crawl underneath and sit in the center. Wait for mom to realize I was missing and then see her feet cirle around the house over and over calling my name out. She'd eventually find me and have to come get me out. It was so funny.
1. Getting into trouble for taking something from the corner drugstore without paying for it.
2. Going to the surfboard shop next door to the drugstore in #1.
3. Playing with this toy with big wheels on both sides with handles on them that you could drive kind of like a tank or dozer (forward, backward or in circles).
All from age 3 or 4.
My first memory was sitting in a high chair in my gramother's kitchen where I lived with my mother.
Putting my hand on the hot grill, you always seem to remember the bad things more.
This one is weird, but VERY vivid! I was either late 2 or possibly 3 (tho' I don't remember my lil' brother being there, he was born on my 2nd birthday), but the family (grandparents, Mom, her little brother, and me), loaded up the car in W. Texas and drove to backwoods Arkansas to see my great-grandparents. THE memory I remember is, opening a door to the back room, and seeing my great-grandma "catheterizing" my great-grandpa (he was close to dying) on the side of the bed. It is a very VIVID memory, and I'm told (tho' they don't see how), that it actually did happen! Also, on that trip, another of my Mom's brothers, took me by the feet, and continually swung me out over a stock pond, scaring me to death!
I know it's kinda gross, but it is my earliest memory.
I remember when we moved to our first house. My grandfather pulled up with a trailer full of my toys, I was four.
I remember getting a bloody nose and ruining my Sunday suit when I was four. It must be a memory of mine, because nobody else in the family remembers it!
I remember visiting my paternal grandmother who lived downstairs in a 2-family house my dad owned and her giving me a dish of butter pecan ice cream. She moved out when I was 4, so it had to be when I was 3 or 4. Then we moved into the downstairs flat and dad rented out the upstairs.
My earliest Chilldhood memory was seeing President Kennedy's funeral on tv I was about 18 months old.
I remember my grandma giving me a bath in the kitchen sink when I was a tiny baby. I can still picture looking down at the floor from the sink and feeling like she might drop me.

If you expect more from folks than they are capable of/willing to give you then you will always be disappointed. Do you and have you? Why?

We seem to be evolving faster than ever. How and what do you see happening here on planet earth in the next 50-100 years from now?
