Nope, I come from a backpacking background and I try to keep things to a minimum because it's less to carry around.

usually but I always say it's better to be prepared for emergencies than to need something and not have it.

No. Will always assume that even those who live in Wisconsin also use toothpaste and combs.

I used to, but with the airlines charging for additional bags and sometimes even the first no! That would curb that right away! Here is a list of those charges.

No, I bring just enough clothes to last for the trip.

We're actually going on a 10 day vacation next week and I won't have enough clothes to last the whole time so I'll have to do some laundry on vacation.

When I drive, sometimes, but not any longer when I fly. It is such a hassle that I buy all of my toiletries in the destination city and take only a few items of clothing. I do take my computer and a couple of books though.

    Yarnlady is happy every day

I used to, when we did all our traveling in a nice big van, but now I use some ideas I learned from a "how to pack" class on TV.

You can find some tips by scrolling to the bottom of this page and click on "How to Articles", then type "Packing suitcase" in the search box.
