Question

Help answer this question below.

We just recently received an RCA 1996 TV, model number 25gt503, that is giving off a blue hue. What could be causing this? We've tried adjusting everything in the menu, but that's not working. It always has that slight blue color to it (every channel).

It could need to be "Degaussed." If a magnet ever came close to it, it could have changed the way it displays pictures. Degaussing is a simple procedure and should be a cheap procedure. If that is not the case then there is more than likely a problem with the circuitry in the tv and that will probably be more than the cost of a new TV to fix. Either way, take it to a repair shop and they can tell you whats up.

I just got the same tv from my neighbor. Besides the menu, there are 2 TINY knobs on the back of the TV that adjusts hue.
