What do you think will be the console that wins this generation, and why? By winning I mean which company will end up selling the most units worldwide by the time the next generation comes.

I think that the Xbox 360 will win because first of all, it has gotten a year head start on the market. The main reason I think it will win is because it is "in the middle" in terms of price, features, etc. Its online capabilities have been proven and successful (not saying the other two haven't). If I were a parent with a ton of money going to buy a console for their kid, I might trust the PlayStation brand but find that I can not find it in stores anywhere. My next choice would be the Xbox 360 or Wii. Things could also change depending on which company can get exclusive titles for its console. PS2 sold many consoles just because GTA was exclusive to the platform for a while, and the same with Xbox and Halo 1 & 2. So my verdict is the Xbox 360.
