I tried to download itunes and I get this message:

There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A DLL required for this install to complete could not be run."

Now what?

i got that same thing and i still cant figure it out. it doesnt tell me what DLL is required. it just says a DLL. so I dont know what to do. Can someone help me?

If it tells you which .dll is required, you can always download it. Could be that the .dll that is required is corrupt or missing all together. Try searching for it on your computer to see if it is there. If it is, it will give you the location that you need to replace the new .dll file to once you download it.

- Got the same problem. Not much help - MS warn that DLL's come in sets. I also note that this could have been sorted out by Apple, and such a fix supplied readily, but this is their childish behaviour when it comes to talking to/ about MS. I've still got the problem also after the unhelpful redirection of Apple to MS sites to get a 'Windows Update' that update the Script reader. I note also that Windows Installer does not offer an indication of which DLL is in conflict/ missing/ of wrong revision. Help!
