Start... All Programs... Google Chrome... Uninstall Google Chrome.

OK. Now when that doesn't work, what next? I tried Add/Remove programs and that doesn't work either. The little hourglass appears next to the cursor for a moment and the hard disk light blinks a few times, but that's it. Plan B?

Hi, I would use HijackThis. This is a good program that should remove that. Here is a web site: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download3155.html Click on scan, then when its finishes (Google) should show up, check it and hit fix and complete.

You will probably have to use the Un-Installer program that comes with the program. If this doesn't work, you will have to delete the Program File from the Program Files folder on your hard drive.

You can try Final Uninstaller available at http://www.finaluninstaller.com/download.php It has already supported uninstalling google chrome. Just 1 click scan, select google chrome and then 1 click clean. That't it. So easy.

Uninstall usually works, but if you go to the website http://www.cleanuninstall.com/?t202id=512487&t202kw=remove%20chrome&gclid=CJjKmZ_ajZwCFQG7sgodUBV4Yg, you'll find a "chrome removal tool" and an explanation of why some users cannot uninstall the program.
