Kind of decidedly antisocial I suppose? I can't say that it is "wrong" as long as they are happy? I am too... so I get it.

The beauty of the dog is that they are non-judgemental. If only people could be loyal, supportive and loving all the time like an animal.

I am not about judgment. If this person has love in his/ her life and is healthy and content, then who I am I to stamp on heavy duty moral labels like right and wrong?

I wouldn't say something is wrong with that person. They just might like doing their own thing, lets face it they only have the dog to answer to no arguments, noise or disturbances no extra cooking, cleanig and washing.I would say they are very clever to think of living alone with the dog atleast it will let them have a stress free quiet life.

It is not wrong to be an introvert and to prefer one type of companionship to another. I adore my family, but my dogs are who I spend most of my time with. I an a terrible introvert and don't require other people most of the time. I am healthy, friendly and productive. It seems OK to me!
